What can one say about themselves in a moderate but refrain from speaking/ writing in a self admiring way? "Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom." I will state the obvious. My name is Whitney Mon Cheri Robinson, I am 22 years old and I was born and raised on the South side of Chicago. I have a mom, two older brothers and one older sister. My dad died after high school but before college when I was 18. I choose Jackson State University because it was far away from home. And now that I have a son ( his name is Jett), I wish Chicago was closer. I am studying television production and I dream to become a multi-producer. Meaning I would like to produce in other genres of entertainment. My minor is Theatre and Dramatic Arts. During the summer I interned at Fox 40 News. That was a blast.
I know that you are still wondering about the title. Some aren't conscience of how they use 'I' or 'Me'. 'I' being subjective relates to more than correct English placement in sentences, but life. For English Majors, 'I' is more subjected to English but also to racial class, sex/gender expectations and limitations given by society. 'Me' is more than objective, the meaning more than a purpose, a goal created by God work towards it will succeed. However, if you put both together there's not the typical abbreviation for 'I am" but I'm. Together the only person responsible for my actions to attain a specific goal without being stricken with limits that someone else created for me.
Expectations for this semester aren’t limited nor overlooked by me. Sometimes there are mix consumption about the reality of passing and failing. There may be a lot of personality in our instructor but not for one second would I let that relax in my mind. A humble and meek spirit brings wisdom and knowledge. What is learned by the wise is also implemented by the intelligent. Some may lack and some may gain. But, whichever is your profit make sure you pass this class with a B.
I look forward to this class.
